Exam Dates and Deadlines:

Plumbing (trade knowledge) examinations are administered in paper and pencil format multiple times per year in Orlando only.

The following is the schedule for the Plumbing (Trade Knowledge) examinations only.

June 25, 2025 – Deadline, May 25, 2025
August 20, 2025 – Deadline, July 10, 2025
October 14, 2025 – Deadline, September 14, 2025
December 10, 2025 – Deadline, November 9, 2025

To register for the exam, please visit www.FloridaExam.com  This link takes you to Professional Testing, Inc.  Professional Testing, Inc. is the testing company under contract from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) to develop and score the examinations for the Florida DBPR/Bureau of Education and Testing. From their website, you can apply online or download application forms from this website to register for one of these examinations. Once you have passed an examination, you will need to apply to the Florida DBPR/Bureau of Education and Testing to obtain a license as a certified contractor.
